How to filter your feed by keyword
Pick the words that matter, check what will actually arrive, and adjust once you see the results. Takes about a minute.
1. Follow the sources first
A keyword filter narrows what you already receive — it does not search the whole catalog. Subscribe to your channels first, then filter.
2. Open Settings → Keywords
In the mini app, go to Settings and tap Keywords. Digest and forwarding-rule screens link straight there too, because the same list applies to all of them.
3. Add the words you want to keep
Type a word and tap +. Several keywords work as "or": a post is kept if it mentions any one of them. Prefer the shortest sensible form — "bank" catches more than "banking".
4. Add skip-words to cut the noise
On Premium and Elite you can also list words that drop a post — ads, giveaways, off-topic. A skip-word always wins, even if the post matched a keyword you kept.
5. Read the preview before saving
The "What you will receive" box spells out the rule you just built in plain language. Check it matches what you meant, then save.
6. Adjust after a day
Too quiet? Remove a keyword or shorten it. Too noisy? Add a skip-word. Changes apply to the next post that arrives.
Getting good results
- Word forms are handled for you — "city" finds "cities", "kitap" finds "kitabı", "рубль" finds "курс рубля". You do not need to add every variation.
- Capitalisation never matters, in any language.
- Keywords also match inside longer words, so a short keyword is broad on purpose. If "art" brings in too much, use "article" instead.
- A photo or video with no caption has no text to match, so it is skipped while a filter is on.
- Posts that do not match are skipped for good — they are not held back and delivered later. Clear your keywords to get the full feed again.
