How to add a private Telegram channel

Paste the channel's invite link and Aggregaat joins it for you. No Telegram login, and it takes about a minute. Requires the Elite plan.

1. Make sure you're on Elite

Private channels are part of the Elite plan, with up to 5 of them. On Standard and Premium you can still add public channels the usual way.

2. Copy the invite link

In Telegram, open the private channel, tap its name and copy the invite link. It looks like t.me/+AbC123… If you can't see a link, ask a channel admin for one.

3. Paste it in Add channel

In the mini app, tap “Add channel” and paste the link. Aggregaat joins the channel with its own Telegram account, never yours.

4. Find it under My Sources

The channel appears under My Sources, marked “Private · only you”. New posts start arriving like they do from any other source.

5. If the channel needs approval

Some channels only let people in after an admin approves them. Aggregaat sends a join request, so ask an admin to approve it, then paste the link again.

6. Use it everywhere

Include the channel in AI digests, route it to a group or channel with a forwarding rule, and let your keyword filters apply to it like any other source.

Good to know

  • Only add channels you are allowed to read. Admins will see Aggregaat's account join as a new member.
  • An invite link that points to a public channel is added as a normal public channel, on any plan.
  • Your private channels and their invite links are never shown to other Aggregaat users, and they never appear in the catalog or search.
  • If an invite link is revoked after Aggregaat has joined, the channel keeps working. If Aggregaat's account is removed from the channel, paste a new invite link.
  • If you leave Elite, your private channels are paused, not deleted. They resume when you come back.

Add your first private channel
